Can I be honest about something? It’s disheartening to pour your heart into posts about Jesus, the Gospel and the things that matter eternally, only to get very little response. Then I post about favorite TV shows or songs and suddenly thousands of people want to join the conversation. I know social media engagement doesn’t determine someone’s faith and I’m not looking for numbers to validate my walk with Jesus. But sometimes it hurts to see how much more attention we give to entertainment than the One who gave His life for us. I want people to talk about Jesus. To share what He’s done in their lives. To encourage one another in faith. To make Him part of our everyday conversations. I’m not giving up. I’ll keep talking about Jesus, even if only one person stops to read.
