I disagree. I'd argue that Liberalism and Socialism are compatible with some mixture, but monarchism and liberalism could not beyond having the monarchy as a historical establishment.
Explainer below:
It makes it look infinitely weaker as Socialism is a direct negation of the system created by Liberalism's shortcomings. It's like calling yourself a Republican Monarchist.

Contradictions are natural in when using electoralism to achieve our goals.
"We should have leaders with our ideology, even if they can't change certain things yet" is true.
We need MORE power.
“We are organizing to hold office to wield power” cannot be maintained with “we have so little power against the state once in office.” That is outright doublethink.

After Benjamin Netanyahu, who I believe is a war criminal, just came and went from New York, I’ve been thinking a lot about the world my first granddaughter is about to enter.
No child should have to grow up wondering whether the next bomb is going to hit their home. No parent should have to wonder whether they can feed their kid or keep them alive. And American taxpayer dollars should not be used to keep fueling that suffering.
Susan Collins has voted again and again to send billions in military aid to Israel throughout this war. She’s part of the same broken Washington system that keeps funding these conflicts while working people here get screwed.
When I get to the United States Senate, I’m going to do everything in my power to stop the killing, get humanitarian aid to the people who need it, and stop writing blank checks for endless wars.

I was pushed out of Seattle dsa leadership along with my slate for prioritizing Medicare for all (this was during the Bernie years!) instead of nebulous buzzwords like disability justice/queer activism/reparations. A once promising chapter became a national joke for nothing
i was pushed out, along with multiple others, of union organizing at a progressive school bc of an interpersonal conflict that started with someone calling me racist bc i got rlly high and said that i thought the barbie movie was good

The Boston Globe piece about the lesbian bar relaxing its mask policy went so viral because it's an unintentional period piece. If you were in a college campus environment, or certain fields of work, or even lived in certain cities, in 2019-21, you were constantly surrounded by people talking like this, and if you didn't proactively and visibly affirm this sort of nonsense you marked yourself as highly suspect, even dangerous. Now that 99.9% of us have escaped that, it's kinda shocking to be reintroduced to such a sharp example. It's like "holy shit, remember a few years ago when every day of my life sounded like this?"
