If you write the laws and manage the state, you own what happens when those laws fail. Eddimar Hernández is dead because JB Pritzker’s Illinois let a violent offender with an active warrant stay on the street. JB Pritzker needs to answer for this.

Great questions/post. Same questions for Pritzger, Stratton and all democrats running for office. And what have democrats done for illegal immigrants. @DarrenBaileyIL @dontr
THE QUESTION FOR BLACK CHICAGO What specifically has Alexi Giannoulias delivered for Chicago’s Black neighborhoods that these aldermen believe warrants their support? And besides lining your pockets with political contributions, what has he actually delivered for the people you represent? Giannoulias has made immigrant access and library “Right to Read” policies major parts of his agenda. He championed the 2023 legislation that made Illinois the first state to prohibit book bans, with state library grants tied to policies protecting access to materials from removal based on partisan or doctrinal objections. His office continues to describe this as protecting the “Right to Read.” (Illinois Secretary of State) His administration has also promoted standardized driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrant motorists. (Illinois Secretary of State) So the question remains: Where is the agenda specifically focused on the problems facing Black Chicago? Where is the measurable record on violent crime, failing schools, economic opportunity, homeownership, Black-owned businesses, neighborhood investment and public safety? Black Chicago deserves more than political endorsements and campaign checks. Ask the aldermen: What has Alex actually done for our communities? And if the answer is simply, “He’s our guy”—that’s not an answer. He’s a failure. Ask Greek Chicago. BLACK CHICAGO: LOOK AT THE RECORD. ASK QUESTIONS. THEN DECIDE FOR YOURSELF.

Follow the Money: Target Area Development Corporation By Chicago Flips Red A nonprofit operating in Chicago’s 17th Ward is bringing in millions of dollars in government funding—and that raises a simple question: Where is the money coming from, and how is it being spent? Target Area Development Corporation (TADC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based at 1542 W. 79th Street. The organization works on community violence intervention, Safe Passage and other neighborhood programs. According to its 2024 IRS filing, TADC reported nearly $9.95 million in revenue, with approximately $8 million classified as government grants. That means government grants accounted for roughly 80% of the organization’s total revenue. TADC’s president and CEO, Joseph Stanford, was reported as receiving $200,000 in compensation in 2024. The organization also reported more than $4 million in wages and salaries that year. But the financial numbers aren’t the only thing worth examining. TADC’s 2024 audit identified material noncompliance and a material weakness in internal controls. Those findings don’t, by themselves, establish fraud or wrongdoing—but they do raise legitimate questions about financial oversight when millions of dollars in public funding are involved. There is also a political connection worth examining. TADC operates within Chicago’s 17th Ward, represented by former Ald. David Moore, and state appropriations have provided funding to both TADC and Moore’s ward for separate projects. That alone does not establish that Moore controls TADC or that he has a financial relationship with Stanford. But when a nonprofit receives millions in government funding, its leadership is worth examining—and so are its relationships with the elected officials and government entities operating in the same community. The question isn’t whether TADC should receive funding for community programs. The question is: When millions of taxpayer dollars are flowing into a nonprofit in the 17th Ward—and that nonprofit’s own audit identifies material compliance and internal-control problems—who is responsible for making sure every dollar is properly accounted for, and what exactly is the relationship between Target Area’s leadership and the political network surrounding the 17th Ward? Secretary Mullin is 100% right: victims deserve to be seen, heard and remembered. But we also have to ask a harder question: What is government doing to prevent people from becoming victims in the first place? While Secretary Mullin and the Trump administration are doing the hard work of bringing balance back downstream, they are also confronting the consequences of decisions made upstream by prior administrations and states like Illinois. That is where states like Illinois and the Biden-Harris administration deserve scrutiny. Government should be working to mitigate risk, enforce the law and prevent foreseeable harm. It should not adopt policies that increase exposure to that harm, ignore the foreseeable consequences, and then leave victims and their families to live with the devastation those decisions helped make possible. I know what that means personally. Because of the decisions and policies that preceded my daughter Katie’s death, I now have to live the rest of my life with a pain and anguish I would give anything to spare another parent. Katie was 20 years old. She should be alive today. Her death forced me to confront a question we cannot avoid: What happens when government decisions intended to protect one population leave another population more vulnerable? Victims of immigration crime cannot become an inconvenient category of victims simply because acknowledging their suffering requires us to examine the policies and decisions that preceded the crime. A person can deserve compassion and accountability at the same time. One person’s victimization cannot erase another person’s victimization. Government has a responsibility to do more than address victims after the fact. It has a responsibility to prevent as many victims as it reasonably can. That is the argument behind The Hierarchy of Victims on my Substack: angeldadjoeabraham.substack.… Katie deserves a voice. So does every family left asking: Could this have been prevented?
To the victims of illegal alien crime: we see you, we hear you, and President Trump stands with you in the fight to end these 100% preventable tragedies. Our VOICE office, led by @angeldadjoe, enables victims of illegal alien crime to pursue the justice they deserve. YOU are why we fight.

🚨BREAKING: Chicago mayoral candidate Danielle Carter-Walters lays out her first 30 days plan. If elected in 2027, she says she will: - End sanctuary city policies immediately - Launch a full forensic audit of all municipal budget activities to track exactly where taxpayer money is going - Go directly into communities to recruit qualified Chicagoans as police officers - Create strong incentives to hire and retain officers to close the nearly 2,000-officer shortage Carter-Walters, a Chicago native, small business owner, and wife of a retired CPD officer, says: “When people know their leadership cares about them, supports them, and has their backs, they don’t mind working hard for you.” She is positioning herself as a common-sense alternative focused on public safety, fiscal accountability, and putting Chicagoans first.

Do NOT vote blue, no matter who! 👇
This video runs long, but it’s worth every second. A black American woman lays out a compelling case for why she’s voting to save America: “I’m not voting blue no matter who. I don’t care what a lot of black people are leaning toward. I’m voting for what’s right and what’s wrong. I am voting for saving America. Save America Act can specify negativity all day. I don’t listen to damn delusional Democrats anymore. I don’t argue about it. I made my stand, and I stand for what it is. I’m voting red no matter what.”

Stop the fraud @AAGDhillon
About 600 Champaign County voters got the wrong ballot. County Clerk Aaron Ammons stopped early voting, then remade ballots over the weekend. Republicans say no party observers were in the room. He blamed his staff and the vendor. Twenty-eight votes were already cast and cannot be changed. The clerk and his wife, state Rep. Carol Ammons, are both under federal indictment and pleaded not guilty in July. She is the only name printed on one of those ballots. Keith Smith is challenging her as a write-in. Voters who were sent another district could not write him in. This is the same office that printed Ted Dabrowski as Tad on the March primary ballot and mailed thousands of bad Republican ballots. Champaign is not alone. DuPage County halted early voting over a database error. Kane County sent 2,000 voters two ballots. Just another Illinois election already off to a great start. 🗳️ H/T @news_gazette

Harris in the debate said she never spoke with Putin to try and end the war in Ukraine. Why not?
Californians' lives are not expendable in Donald Trump's unhinged, reckless war in Iran. This is yet another callous comment from the tyrant in the White House who dragged the American people into a war that we do not want.

And his IRGC people( funded in part by Obama, no?) endorse democrats in the upcoming elections. Silence is acceptance as none have denounced. DEATH TO AMERICA is accepted by the democrats.
Predictable. Mamdani chose to make Muslims the “victims” in his statement about October 7th today on the 3 year anniversary. He is a full blown jihadist who normalizes killing non-Muslims for the sake of pushing a global intifada.

The naked body of a murdered young woman sprawled in the back of a pickup truck, driven through the streets of Gaza as people cheered, spat, threw things, and desecrated her body. A Jewish woman torn from her family. The horrors she suffered in the final moments of her life, and the unimaginable pain those images caused her family, her friends, and every person with a conscience, can never be undone. They should never be forgotten. Three years ago today, the Jewish people suffered the greatest atrocity committed against them since the Holocaust. And then I watched people I had considered friends and colleagues call this unspeakable barbarism "resistance." I watched people who considered themselves compassionate excuse or celebrate the murder of Jews, while others celebrated their deaths as though celebrating a wedding or the birth of a child.

🚨BREAKING: Governor Ron DeSantis has confirmed that after finalizing the new budget, the state of Florida will have slashed spending for 4 straight years. Despite having a similar population to New York, Florida’s budget will be less than half the size of New York’s. The state’s rainy day fund will be 100% full and more than 3 times larger than it was just 7 years ago. All of this with no state income tax and upcoming cuts to property taxes. Florida continues to lead with fiscal responsibility and strong conservative governance.

🚨 BREAKING: President Trump confirms he is considering SUSPENDING the federal gas tax LFG! Do it, 47! In reality, the gas tax should be ABOLISHED, but it's a good start! 😆
