October’s sell-off wasn’t the end of the cycle—it may have been the reset it needed. Excess leverage is flushed, fundamentals remain intact, and institutional players are quietly rotating back in. Smart money is clustering around EVM chains, RWAs, and yield protocols—pointing to selective re-risking, not retreat. Key takeaways: • Leverage is cleaner, but liquidity gaps remain. •Capital is rotating, not entering—selectivity remains critical. • Macro risk lingers, but structural demand builds. We think this is the base-building phase before the next leg up, not a cycle top. Get more on these and other key insights in this Monthly Outlook report: coinbase.com/institutional/r…

This is, by far, the most realistic interpretation of events I’ve seen yet.
This is going to be a very, very unpopular take of mine - here goes We've all seen this photo by now of the sniper taking his view off of the scope. Hesitating. Honestly? I probably would have done the same in that situation. I will explain. Think about it. You're not in Syria. You're on sniper duty at a political rally in the US. You usually don't have threats. Whatever "threats" you do have are usually an unruly Bernie Bro that venue security can just throw out and Secret Service doesn't even need to get involved Then you see something. Looks like a gun. Better get this right! We all remember what happened to Derek Chauvin. (Sticks head up, looks to confirm) Imagine shooting an unarmed civilian because you *thought* you saw a gun. Seriously, imagine the news stories the next day. You've heard of fight or flight, but there is a third option: freeze. You're not in Syria or Iraq. It's not that kind of rules of engagement. What do you do? Better get this right Then the shots confirm what you saw, and you return fire. All this thought process happens in about 3 seconds if you watch the clip. It's easy to pick about that clip now but at the time...nobody was even watching. They were listening to the Trump speech. That was it. Again, you're probably not going to like my take. I don't really like it either. It's the kind of thing that training is supposed to fix. But I also understand.

This entire argument is stupid, and it’s only surpassed by those that don’t know the same thing that keeps heat in will keep heat out.
Replying to @jzellis
The houses are built to retain heat, not circulate breezes. They're bunkers - small windows, a lot of transom - the ones that don't slide up like sash windows but have a smol window at the top that opens outward to keep rain from getting in. No ceiling fans either.

Looks like Looney Loomer is prepping for the inevitable 2024 Presidential election loss.
I HAVE PROVIDED IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE THAT RONNA ROMNEY IS USING RNC RESOURCES TO SABOTAGE PRESIDENT TRUMP AND HELP DEMOCRATS TAKE BACK THE HOUSE! Ronna Romney must resign as @GOPChairwoman. She is going to be the reason why we get Speaker @RepJeffries Hakeem Jeffries. Nobody could get the document because as I just exposed, Mazi has been using two different birthdays to obfuscate her Democrat affiliation. That’s arguably fraud since you can only have one birthday and using a fake birthday on a voter document is illegal. As you can see below, Mazi Pilip says her birthday is October 1979 and then she also said it was November 1979. Can’t be both. On Wikipedia it says 1978. Mazi Pilip is a Democrat and @NassauGOP should be ashamed of themselves for allowing a Democrat to lie to Republican voters in New York. Cc: @EliseStefanik @leemzeldin RECEIPTS 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Trump barely hit 50%. RDS / Haley absolutely stole Trump votes. It’s incredible the amount of coping needed to still believe Trump isn’t losing support Regardless, you aren’t “running against” anyone when all you ever do it praise that person. And that’s what Vivek did to Trump.

I loved your brother. I was a Sophomore? in HS when I first saw his TV show with my dad. After we sat and watched for a while, I told my dad I liked what he had to say. My dad was a hippie in the 70s, BUT a member of the Reagan Revolution. I don't think I'd ever seen him light up like that before. We have shared our love of Conservatism ever since. I say all that because I want you to know that I come to this election cycle from a place of honesty and good faith. Trump isn't a conservative. He's a populist, without principles. That is INCREDIBLY dangerous. His acolytes have no understanding of Conservatism...only Trumpism. Whatever he feeds them, they will claim is delicious and nourishing. It wasn't like this at the beginning...but it is MOST DEFINITELY where we are now.

So let's crunch some numbers. They are talking near 60K Commit to caucus cards that the @rondesantis camp has. That represents 30% of the expected vote from the get-go;. Add to that the 1,500 TRAINED caucus captains Ron's team has, while the Trump campaign is blindly sending out captain kits to whatever randos that donated to Trump back in 2020. Haley's effort at prep is even worse. DeSantis also has the biggest group of volunteers I've ever heard of coming to Iowa to help with the pitch, including some of the most knowledgeable & rational political minds I've ever had the pleasure to work with in over a half-century at this. Plus, the Reynold's and Van Der Plaatz's organizations have been working full-tilt for months now. Haley's Mega-donors are trying to make up by torching mounds of cash, but a lot of this stuff cannot be rushed anymore than 9 women can have a baby in a month. And Haley's horrible gaffes have done substantial damage, likely undoing most of the money bombs. Bottom line; I predict Ron wins by SEVERAL points in Iowa (I say 8-12), Haley finishes a distant 3rd, maybe 12-15 points at best. Ramaswamy in mid-single digits. All due to a TREMENDOUS amount of retail political efforts that is going to blow the polls apart by 40 points, which absolutely must be done. And, once the polls ARE turned to ash, we can start having a REAL conversation on who is the best candidate to move forward with.

Fact checked… True. Covid tyranny started with Trump. He listened to the wrong (corrupted) people; Fauci, Francis, Birx and megalomaniac Bill Gates.
Ron DeSantis on the astonishing lengths the Trump administration went to push COVID lockdowns: “You started to have federal agencies working directly with local governments to impose restrictions over the state… Trump attacked Georgia for reopening.” x.com/NvrBackDown24/status/1…

"DeSantis ran a horrible campaign!" 99% of the time, the folks who mindlessly repeat this 'horrible campaign' talking point are doing just that - repeating something they have no clue about, to feel like they're part of the crowd. You'll notice that they'll never provide specifics as to what was done wrong. They can't point to anywhere where he zigged when he should have zagged. At best, they simply parrot "Bush! Rove! Boots!" stupidity or, if they are 'influencers' (particularly those angling for invites to Mar-a-Lago) just outright lie. Today, your typical Trump supporter has been told that, as Florida's Governor, DeSantis could 'block' the Federal and other states' indictments against Trump. They have gleefully spread the lie that DeSantis is working with the DOJ to persecute Trump or repeat @julie_kelly2's Constitutionally insane lie that he (but never Trump) has the power but that he refuses to pardon J6ers. The best two arguments I've seen (and both are wholly disingenuous) are; 1. by folks who claim that DeSantis' misstep was that he did not make his campaign a never-ending praisefest of Donald Trump. 2. by folks who claim that, paradoxically, DeSantis misstep was that he did not attack Trump enough. Argument 1 is belied by the fact that Vivek's campaign - which has been a wholly fellatial exercise toward Donald Trump never took off. When you push, you realize these are folks who would never have voted for anyone but Trump - so the only misstep DeSantis made was running in the first place. Argument 2 is belied by the fact that Chris Christie has been attacking Trump from the moment he launched, and the people pushing this argument are now backing Haley, who has attacked Trump far less than DeSantis and only entered the race after seeking his permission. In other words, the "horrible campaign" thing is nothing more than a bullshit talking point put out by the Trump campaign and opportunistic posturing by Nikki supporters who think the massive infusion of cash by corporate interests is going to be the deciding factor. Meanwhile, Trump's paid 'influencer' operatives like @Timcast, @JavManjarres, @julie_kelly2, @BlueBoxDave, @charliekirk11, etc. covered up and made excuses for attacks on DeSantis by senior Trump campaign officials and surrogates while claiming DeSantis supporters drove them into the arms of Trump. This is while many turned a blind eye or laughed at Trump accusing DeSantis of pedophilia and encouraging gangbang and rape memes targeting Casey DeSantis and DeSantis' kids, while pretending attacks by @ILikeDeSantis4987 are beyond the pale. It's all a lie.
