To get here, his plane flew over Greece, Italy and France, three countries that recognize the International Criminal Court, which has an arrest warrant for him over crimes against humanity in Gaza. He’ll take the UN stage at 2 PM to justify the war in Gaza, which has killed more than 250 journalists, destroyed 97% of its schools, almost all of its universities, and left Gaza with the world’s highest concentration of child amputees. He’s also expected to make the case for continued war with Iran, which began with a triple-tap Tomahawk missile strike on a girls school. Two major protests are scheduled today: -12PM at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza, directly outside the UN, two hours before Netanyahu speaks. -4PM at Bryant Park and marches to the UN, two hours after Netanyahu speaks.
