It was my pleasure to personally host NASA leadership in Montana to align around the Ignition priorities and make sure the team is focused and moving safely and urgently. Decisions of the past have made the second space race closer than it ever needed to be. Under @POTUS’ national space policy, and with the resources from the Working Family Tax Cut Act, we have the tools to accelerate Artemis, return American astronauts to the Moon, build the base, rebuild the X-plane portfolio, launch more missions of science and discovery, and get America underway on nuclear power in space so the third race will never be in question.

One of the best ways to reinforce NASA’s mission-first culture is to free the best and brightest from needless bureaucracy and obstacles that slow progress, so they can focus on science and discovery as quickly and affordably as possible without compromising safety. My advisors (or “team”) and I have established inboxes we will monitor ourselves and encouraged their use to bypass unnecessary filters. My roadshow to every NASA center, which kicked off Friday, gives me the opportunity to spend time with those in the trenches and listen closely to our industry and international partners. I will do everything I can to remove blockers, empower the workforce, and ensure sustained American leadership in the high ground of space.

At NASA, we take to the skies for training, cutting-edge flight test programs, to send our astronauts to space, and to inspire the next generation to look up and imagine what is possible. Today, we had the opportunity to fly @LaraLeaTrump and @EricTrump over NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, and to show them where history is being made on the ground, including a visit to the Vehicle Assembly Building and the Artemis II rocket that will send NASA astronauts farther into space than ever before. We were honored to host you where America reaches for the stars.
