His former head of security, Jordan Domingue, who turned down hush money from El-Sayed’s campaign so he could talk, warned that this movement isn't just progressive politics. He called it an insurgency. And it doesn't end there. Back in 2012, El-Sayed personally signed an open letter urging Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood to "purge the media and the police." That's the real Abdul El-Sayed and I hope Michigan takes notice before it's too late.

In the U.S., that nonurgent first appointment averages about 33 days. In the U.K., it’s 11 weeks. In Canada, more than a third wait three months or longer. He wants to lecture America on healthcare while peddling numbers that don’t hold up. If he can’t get the basics right on TV, why should Michigan trust him with the Senate?
