The U.S. had 150,000 combat deaths just in Europe to free them from Hitler during WWII. Denmark surrendered in 2 days, many collaborated with the Nazis as they watched their wives and daughters have sex with their conquerors. Meanwhile , Greenland became a de facto protectorate of the USA which has defended it and Europe ever since. All the while Denmark and most of Europe could not live up to their NATO defense spending commitments to the tune of trillions of dollars over decades.

It's mad, I dont think within NATO there are many nations that have worked together in combat missions as Uk, Denmark and America have. Been under Uk and USA leadership many times Denmark worked as good as it could in combat and to think a ally even suggest it is just insane

Yes, and 9/11 was the only Article V implementation in NATO's history. But don't disregard the fact that in the period 1992-2022, Denmark blatantly violated the NATO treaty by spending only about 1.37% on defense. You need to come to understand how this offends many Americans.
