Argh. Claude Code for Windows has exactly the same problem I had gotten fixed in the GitHub Copilot app: making the mistake of loading only the system-level PATH while forgetting the user-level PATH. None of the tools installed in user context, especially MSIX packages, work 👇

I hate to admit, but I find Claude Code's CI integration much simpler to use and reliable than the GitHub Copilot app agent merge feature. It makes CI and PR state visible where you prompt while remaining compact. With GitHub Copilot, it just says it "checked" instead

Does anyone know if it's possible in Claude Code to see queued "chips" or "suggested tasks" after the pop up dialog is dismissed? It seems shortsighted to have such a feature require that you take action *now* for follow-up tasks that would normally be done later

I have a very large agent skill, and "gh skill install awakecoding/openspecs windows-protocols" takes forever, and even hits GitHub API rate limits. Is there a better way to distribute agent skills for faster downloads and stability with the GitHub CLI?

The nice thing about having your own Devolutions Terminal is you can add the features you always wanted in Windows Terminal. Here's gsudo integration for launching any profile elevated using shift+click. No need to launch a second terminal elevated, you can have it all in one place!

Just got my third Dell laptop, hopefully this one doesn't crash on me repeatedly until I have to send it back to IT
I must be cursed: I get a brand new laptop from IT because there's no resolution in sight for my repeated BSODs on CPU core 19 with the current one. I come back to my desk, plug it in, and it crashes. Literally within minutes of getting the new laptop 😭

It crashed like 3 times already, so I brought it back to IT. Those Dell Pro Max 16 Plus models are really unstable, we have other people in the office with recurring crashes, and they're not even for the same root causes

The GitHub Copilot app now has an improved auto mode, but I still wish I could control which models can be used in the automatic selection, and filter out entire providers based on the git repository of the project

@theo I've decided to install T3 Code to use instead of Claude Desktop for Windows, and it's so much nicer. The one missing thing is a way to override the path for worktrees to be on my Dev Drive. Exact same problem as with Cursor apparently

I tried reinstalling and the issue persisted. The fact that it's been a known issue for the past 5 months that still isn't resolved, and affects pretty much everyone, is mind blowing to me. I just switched to T3 Code + Claude CLI instead, and it looks soooo much better

KB5124008 just broke domain logons on Windows 11 25H2. Users getting "wrong password" with the right password. And cached credentials are hiding it from most admins right now. 🧵

I'm trying to dig more into subagent visibility. It does list the model used, but is there a way to change the the model, or see the reasoning level, and context size? It just says "GPT-6 Astra" here

GPT-6 Astra in the @GitHubCopilot app really doesn't work well with inter-session communication, all the sessions where I have tried it somehow get stuck, with messages from child sessions getting queued and never processed in the parent session

Now a funny thing happened - the parent Astra session noticed that the child session using MAI 1.1 flash repeatedly failed to achieve one of the tasks, and asked if it could take over. I clicked yes.

hum... I think it might work if I manually check each of the auto-detected reasoning levels. I just wish I didn't have to... especially since it's automatically listed correctly based on the model (the detected reasoning levels aren't the same for all models)

We're unable to reproduce internally, but I can definitely see the cursor disappear while typing when "Hide pointer while typing" is checked in Windows. Unchecking it works around the issue - some weird window transitions may lead to the cursor never being shown again
