Even though I much prefer the GitHub Copilot app, it's very hard to justify running all of my workflows in it when you can get that much token usage for $200 in Claude Code
A $200 Claude Code sub gets you ~$9,000 of Opus usage per month.
I have managed to run 3 Claude accounts down to 0% since Opus 5.5 dropped.
When analyzing their usage, costs were $2,086, $2,442, and $2,182.
Average is $2,200/week, so ~$9,000/month

I confirm the workaround does the trick, I uninstalled a few tools. Software on Windows tends to add itself individually to PATH instead of having a lot of executables within the same directory, so it can easily go over 4096

Shipping native cross platform tools kinda sucks for C#/.NET. I love this ecosystem but needing the full .NET runtime is friction for the end user. And NativeAOT is friction for the creator.
Rust has my attention ESPECIALLY in the agentic era.

I'm thinking of creating custom subagents in Claude Code that wrap Copilot CLI, enabling usage of non-Anthropic models for reviewing changes. The holy grail would be /rubber-duck that almost looks and feels the same as in GitHub Copilot app, using Copilot CLI under the hood

Normally it's just inherited, but I bet Claude Code reconstructs the PATH to inject its own tools in it, and does exactly the same mistake the GitHub Copilot app did. Instead of using the inherited PATH it probably only reads the system-level PATH and then appends something
