As a Bama fan, I’d like to see ND in a conference. However, I give ND credit. They have always tried to schedule competitively. Some teams don’t hold up to their part and stay competitive. I’m looking forward to Bama/ND home/home games. I think IU, Miami, & tech bigger issues

They don’t control the strength of other programs but last I checked @BadgerFootball and @UNCFootball are looking pretty good. Irish very likely will have played 4-5 t25 games at seasons end. Guy is a dumbass and is owned by ESPN. IU last year, Michigan in 2023 and UGA in 2022 all only played 2 ranked teams in the regular season and still won the championship each of those years. But of course they have rights with ESPN so he won’t talk bad about them.

I used to think Herbstreit was pretty fair in his ND analysis. But something has changed. It’s pretty remarkable to see a coordinated media effort criticizing ND. Setting the framework to call their National Championship illegitimate if they were to win it all this year.
