Bridgen put the right question on the table. Schneider named the thing. The argument is not a mood. It is volume, fertility, law, and who is allowed to say no.

Schneider’s line, in his own words: this is not a refugee trickle. It is mass movement from a different creed and legal culture into a continent that has almost stopped having children. The powerful treat that inflow as policy. The aim he names is to thin what is left of public Christianity and European peoplehood.

**Agree on the substance.**
Islam is not a private hobby. It arrives with a public law, a marriage pattern, a claim on the street and the school, and a record of what happens to churches where it becomes the majority. A nation that imports that at scale while its own baptismal roll and birth rate collapse is not “being kind.” It is dissolving the host. Invasion, in ordinary speech, is what you call a demographic occupation that the receiving state will not stop. You do not need every arrival to carry a rifle. You need numbers, time, and a political class that calls the native the problem.
**The data, without a sermon.**
Pew’s Europe-wide pictures (2017, still the clean public baseline) are slower than Schneider’s “majority in thirty or forty years.” Zero further migration: Muslims from about 5% to about 7% by 2050, because they are younger and have roughly one more child per woman. Medium inflows: toward 11%. High inflows on the 2015-style path: toward 14%, over 75 million. Germany’s high path in that work went toward one in five. That is not “Europe is Islamic next Tuesday.” It is also not “nothing to see.” Cities, school rolls, and crime and grooming maps already show the local majority arriving decades before a continental census does. Schneider’s five-to-ten children is the origin-country and high-fertility tail, not the European-Muslim average Pew used (~2.1 versus ~1.6 for non-Muslims). The direction is the same. The host is below replacement. The guest community is not.

**The elite piece is not a cartoon.**
Brussels punished governments that closed the door. Capitals kept the inflows after the public said stop. Family policy for natives stayed a joke. Blasphemy-by-another-name crept in as “hate.” Halal and Ramadan were treated as inevitable furniture. That is an identity project whether or not a signed “destroy Christianity” memo ever hits a wiki. Schneider lives in a Muslim-majority country. He is not guessing from a seminar.
So: yes. Mass Muslim migration into a post-Christian low-fertility Europe functions as an invasion of the civilizational settlement. Refugees exist. The policy is not a refugee policy. It is a replacement of the people who built the parish, the law, and the street. Bridgen is right to ask it in public. The counter-story is the same one every failing capital uses: call the math hate so the inflow can continue.
