It is very uncanny that the “paperclip maximizer”, thought experiment from 2003 created by Swedish philosopher Nick Bostrom, is taking on a weird twist with the OpenAI/ Microsoft/ ChatGPT-4 Bing aka Clippy like AI search assist. Ironic dystopian vibes
