Interesting little EY breadcrumb trail around
@telcoin that I find interesting.
Start with Paul Neuner.
Congressman Mike Flood’s office recently mentioned in Paul’s Flyover Fintech bio that Paul previously founded the Internet application development department of Ernst & Young Technologies.

Then you start looking around and EY keeps showing up.
Telcoin Japan and EY ShinNihon were both participants in the Japan Cryptoasset Business Association NFT Business Subcommittee. They both appear in the official 2022 participant list.

EY also has a pretty interesting position inside that same association when it comes to stablecoins. EY ShinNihon’s Chikara Adachi is Vice Chairman of the JCBA Stablecoin Subcommittee.

Another one I found was Bradley Margol. In 2025, Telcoin LLC brought him in as a Payment Expert to look at stablecoins at point of sale, prepaid cards versus stablecoins and debit card processing. Earlier in his career he worked at EY as a CPA.

Then there’s Kevin Garcia at EY. He has reposted Telcoin’s MWC26 activity and also the GSMA stablecoin paper that highlighted Telcoin’s Ricardo Pires.

EY Financial Services Senior Manager Bhavik Patel has also interacted with Telcoin banking content, including material featuring Telcoin Digital Asset Bank President Patrick Gerhart talking about banks and stablecoins.

And now we have EY Senior Manager Timur Akhmetzianov directly mentioning Telcoin alongside OpenReserve, Augustus National Bank and Erebor in a post about tokenized banking, programmable settlement, liquidity management and real time treasury.

You can even go back to 2018 and find EY Global Innovation Leader Paul Brody and Telcoin Marketing Director Yacine Farouk on the speaker roster at the same Blockchain Unchained conference.

So we’ve got Paul’s own history with Ernst & Young, Telcoin Japan sharing industry groups with EY, a former EY guy later doing payments and stablecoin work directly for Telcoin, current EY people following Telcoin’s banking and stablecoin work, and now an EY Senior Manager specifically putting Telcoin into the conversation around the next generation of tokenized banks.
EY is one of the “Big Four” accounting and professional services firms in the world. In FY2025, it reported about $53.2 billion in global revenue and more than 406,000 employees across 150+ countries and territories.
Could be nothing. Could be something.
But EY is one I’m keeping on the Telcoin watchlist. ethereum:0x467bccd9d29f223bce8043b84e8c8b282827790f
