The IRGC said on Monday that it used surveillance methods that its adversaries could not identify to conduct precise strikes against military positions and vessels.
Spokesman Hossein Mohebbi said the Islamic Revolutionary Guards struck targets “once or twice a week,” arguing that missiles hitting military positions and critical sections of ships demonstrated intelligence capabilities.
“IRGC tracking is not currently conducted through satellites they recognize,” he said. “It is carried out through another method that they may not yet be able to detect.”
Mohebbi also said that IRGC had destroyed the adversaries’ radars and surveillance network, leaving them “blind.”
“If we cannot see in the darkness of night across the Persian Gulf, which is about 50 kilometers wide, how do we strike with precision?” he said. “That is a question the Americans should ask themselves.”
