Yes, in the same way that the left long had an 'obsessional view' about apartheid in South Africa, while your political forebears opposed sanctions and printed 'Hang Nelson Mandela' stickers.

Yesterday, I watched Naza. I did not go to learn what had happened in Gaza. I am from there. I am one of the victims of this war, one of its witnesses, and one of those who have paid a price that will not end when the war does. I did not need a film to tell me how entire neighborhoods were wiped away, how residential buildings were bombed with the people still inside them, or how families were forced to leave their homes without knowing where they were supposed to go. Nor did I need anyone to tell me about the famine. I lived through it twice, with all its humiliations, down to the smallest detail. Or about the starving people who were killed while trying to reach what were so absurdly called “food distribution centers.” I know all of this. I was there. Read the whole Thread below : #Naza @yuval_abraham

Darializa Avila Chevalier calls for NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch to step down "Last night, the NYPD and Commissioner Tisch violated the spirit, if not the letter, of our sanctuary city policies and fueled the Trump Administration’s attempt to demonize our communities. The NYPD’s Strategic Response Group must be disbanded as quickly as possible, and Commissioner Tisch must step down."

🚨I checked every single name on Israel's list of 170 Gazan "terrorist" journalists. It's the most sloppy shameless fraud possible🧵 In the overwhelming majority of those listed, the IDF presents ZERO credible evidence. In most of them, their pages are literally blank.

Check out the overwhelming support for Yehonatan Ovadia, an anti-Zionist rabbi who appears in immigration court today. Yehonatan is in ICE custody and facing deportation to Israel because he attended an anti-Israel protest in 2023. Free Yohanatan!

This is an extremely dark comparison but perfectly apt. There are many people dying right now under rubble as we speak, and to save them Israel would merely have to allow equipment to get to the site. There is no point in trying to shame Israel, but where is the rest of the world? When it came to this sub, everyone rallied. Now, nothing.
The world moved heaven & earth to rescue the Oceangate sub & the team in the Tham Luang cave But nobody is moving a muscle to save 100 souls trapped beneath a collapsed building in Gaza. Gazans are literally digging through the rubble with their bare hands. The bare minimum is to press Israel to allow excavators, trucks & fuel. There’s no reason why Israel is still banning those life-saving equipment from entering Gaza!

Two things can be true: NAZA is a crucial documentary evidence against genocide deniers We live in a frighteningly hypocritical world that applauds Israelis who call out apartheid & genocide while shaming & disbelieving Palestinians who say the exact same words Like when German Culture Minister Claudia Roth said her applauds at 2024 Berlinale were solely directly at Israeli journalist Yuval Abraham & not his Palestinian co-director Basel Adra who was with him on stage An Israeli saying genocide & apartheid is "brave" & "extraordinary". A Palestinian using the same words is "radical", "extremist", "propagandist", "antisemite", & "uncompromising" Palestinian testimonies & evidence are treated as "biased", "exaggerated", "unreliable", until Israelis say otherwise! We need a former Israeli prime minister to say there's ethnic cleansing in the West Bank for European governments to believe it We need a former Israeli foreign minister to say that Camp David was a scam & that if he was a Palestinian he would've rejected it, in order to debunk the myth of the "most generous Israeli peace offer" We need the Israeli newspaper Haaretz to say Israel is torturing Palestinians to death in detention camps for the world to believe what we've been documenting & saying for years We always need an Israeli to add legitimacy & credibility to our meticulous & impeccable evidence That shouldn't mean discounting Israeli dissenting voices who speak up; it doesn't mean devaluing the important work they do & the risks they take when they call out their own country's crimes. There's already been a giant wave of attacks from Israeli government & opposition leaders against the filmmakers of NAZA Shame & anger should be directed at mainstream places who suppress & sideline Palestinian voices while elevating Israelis who say the exact same message The game is rigged against us. But that doesn't mean attacking Israeli dissidents like Yuval. It should rather mean that we & Israeli anti-apartheid activists should jointly call out & condemn those who set the rules of the game at every possible opportunity until Palestinian voices are heard & believed What do our people stand to gain from attacking Yuval & discrediting this movie? Activism is about what works, what makes a difference, not what feels good. NAZA is an important & crucial documentary that must be seen all around the world.

You killed & maimed +897 civilians in a single attack on the Jabalia refugee camp on October 31, 2023 The massacre was so brutal, it led multiple countries to recall their ambassadors from Tel-Aviv; Bolivia cut all relations with Israel; the UN & EU condemned it Then you did it again & again
This is completely false. The IDF has never planned, approved, or carried out a strike in Gaza in which 500 civilians or anything near that number were anticipated to be killed. Nor was any credible claim raised throughout the war suggesting that an IDF strike had caused anything near that number of fatalities. The filmmakers couldn't possibly verify this claim, there is no real supporting evidence, and yet they published it anyway. Additionally, nothing about the interviewee, not his service nor his role can be independently checked and verified. No such strike was ever planned, approved, or carried out yet this is the claim the filmmakers chose to promote their movie with. Judge the rest accordingly.

Perhaps the most terrifying thing about Gaza was not that the world allowed it to happen. It was discovering that Gaza was only the beginning. All the speeches, protests, resolutions, international laws, red lines, condemnations, and promises of “never again” have apparently taught this monster nothing. This morning, Israeli strikes completely destroyed Ghandour Hospital in southern Lebanon. Another hospital !! Another building once meant for healing reduced to rubble. We watched hospitals in Gaza bombed, besieged, evacuated, burned and destroyed. We were told Gaza was exceptional. We were told the world was watching. International institutions issued statements. Governments expressed “concern.” People marched through capitals demanding that there must be a line even war is not allowed to cross. And now we are watching those lines disappear somewhere else. Again. We are living through a dark age in which military power and money seem capable of crushing almost everything humanity spent generations pretending was sacred: international law, hospitals, homes, places of worship, trees, memory, and human life itself. And perhaps that is what terrifies me most. Not only that these things are being destroyed, but that the world is being trained to watch their destruction and continue with its day. A hospital becomes rubble. A neighborhood disappears. A family becomes photographs. Another condemnation is written. And elsewhere, people wake up, drink their coffee, go to work, come home, and sleep. I once believed that knowing what happened would be enough to make humanity afraid of repeating it. Now I understand the more terrible possibility: Human beings can know. They can remember. They can build museums to the dead, teach their names in schools, write “never again” above their graves; and still allow another human being to become rubble. It happened. Therefore it could happen again. Perhaps the mistake was believing that “again” would look exactly like the first time. If hell is a place where power can destroy human beings, homes, hospitals, memory, and life itself, while those who built laws to prevent it discover that their laws cannot make it stop, then perhaps hell does not require another world. Perhaps it requires only this one, and enough people willing to continue their day. #SurvivalTestimony

Replying to @BoardOfPeace
Dear Board of Peace, 1- I have a tender issued under your name on 20 May 2026 that includes "levelling & compacting" work in occupied Gaza, do you deny that document? 2- Is the Israeli company Terra Firma NOT doing "rubble clearance" in Gaza allegedly with machines that take rubble & spit out dust while the IDF is doing road-paving work (specifically near Erez)? 3- Are you NOT in any way paying, compensating, subsidising or aiding Israeli companies, contractors, individuals, the Israeli army or government for rubble removal & road paving in Gaza? 4- If you are involved, can you explain whether any effort is being made to separate human remains from rubble or detect potential mass graves under the roads being paved? The Israeli government is silent on this. 5- I have satellite images that show clear & significant rubble removal work in East Gaza in the months of May & June. Do you deny any involvement in this? 6- Do you have anything to say on Israel killing over 1,200 Palestinians under your watch since your ceasefire started? how about Israel restricting humanitarian aid and preventing prostatic limbs from going to largest cohort of child amputees in modern history? How about Israel preventing repairs of basic infrastructure (water, electricity, sewage, hospitals, bakeries), or releasing all children & women still in detention without trial or charges? All of those unfulfilled commitments were part of phase one of President Trump's 20-point plan! Remarkable how none of Israel's violations of your ceasefire ever caught your attention once in 323 days, but my sole tweet did in mere hours.

🚨Fraud! The UNICEF study shows stunted growth in Gaza is 625% higher than Germany The 0.5% cited below is the Weight-for-Height Z-score, & the same study shows this is a result of Israel flooding Gaza with high-calorie junk food while restricting/banning fresh produce🧵
Gaza Famine? Not according to UNICEF. A new survey shows Gaza has one of the lowest acute child malnutrition rates in the world: 🇬🇧 UK 0.4% 🇵🇸 Gaza 0.5% 🇩🇪 Germany 0.5% 🇫🇮 Finland 1.6% 🇪🇬 Egypt 3.3% 🇮🇷 Iran 4.3% 🇺🇳 World 6.6% 🇸🇾 Syria 11.5% 🇾🇪 Yemen 16.8% 🇸🇩 Sudan 16.3%

Simply don’t understand those willing to deny the evidence of multiple doctors from a variety of different countries; independent investigators all with long and established careers, journalists, survivors and witnesses, a pile of visual evidence as well as their own eyes - and still attempt to discredit those who report this. - whether they’re survivors, medics, academics or journalists…
