The $118,000 bill is one day, not the cap. Three one-room schools alone already owe that much for 59 children, at $2,000 each.

Health Commissioner Mary Bassett imposed it on December 15, 2022. She called the sum conservative because it assumed only one day out of compliance.

Dygert Road was billed $52,000 for 26 children. Pleasant View was billed $46,000 for 23.

Another day for those 59 children is another $118,000. A 180-day year at that rate is about $21 million, and the families say they cannot pay the first bill.

Joseph Miller, Jonas Smucker, and Ezra Wengerd run the schools. The schools sit in Clymer and Heuvelton, plus the Canajoharie settlement, and take no public money.

They had a religious exemption for decades. On June 13, 2019, Democrats repealed it after measles spread through Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Rockland County.

Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill. Governor Kathy Hochul left it in force.

A parent may not excuse a child for faith.

Senator James Skoufis said the exemption was made up and fake. Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz called it utter garbage.

Counsel Aaron Siri told the New York Post the families can pay only if the state takes their land. Some in the community have talked of leaving the state.

The case is Miller versus McDonald. The Second Circuit ruled against them on June 30 in 2026.

I have undertaken this project to put a face to 9/11 by posting a photo of everyone killed that day. If after everything that happened you can vote for the ideology that brought it about it's as if you are killing them yourself! Pictured below was 35 year old physician Yeneneh Betru who was aboard Flight 77 which crashed into the Pentagon. He was originally from Ethiopia and had moved to the United States in 1982 telling his grandmother it was his dream to become a physician so he could heal all the ailments of someone like her. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan and interned at the USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. At the time of his death he had been the director of medical affairs for IPC- Hospitalist Company in Burbank California. He was one of the pioneers of a new practice of medicine called hospitalist care and traveled around the country training hundreds of physicians. He was not able to save his grandmother who died because Ethiopia didn't have adequate facilities but he helped create a kidney dialysis clinic in Addis Ababa donating some of his own money. He was survived by his parents and siblings and to forget a single one of these people is a blasphemy!

Charlotte NC is corrupt.
I have just completed what I believe to be the most comprehensive evaluation of Charlotte NC arrest records in history.
This project has taken me 3 months to complete, combing through over 50,000+ arrest records and mugshots.
I've found what appears to be massive fraud.
Thousands of Hispanics have been labelled as "WHITE CAUCASIAN" in the arrest records... THOUSANDS.
In fact, I found over 500 cases where Hispanics who were arrested more than once... had their "Ethnicity" CHANGED from "Hispanic" to "Caucasian" from one arrest to another.
Horrifyingly, I found HUNDREDS of these "White Caucasians" were actually ILLEGAL ALIENS from foreign countries with ICE detainers.
Perhaps most disturbing...
Many of the illegal aliens who were labelled as "WHITE CAUCASIAN" had already been released back into the public, DESPITE the ICE detainer requesting they stay in prison.
We have a serious problem.

In this role, he is institutionalizing a new standard for what the IRS audits and investigates. That rule: “The IRS doesn’t like it.” Ask any high-end tax lawyer or CPA about it and they will tell you it’s happening.
That rule has nothing to do with the laws Congress passed, or the policies of the Trump Administration. It is a Deep State standard based on nothing but the whims of bureaucracy.
Who do these new “the IRS doesn’t like it” investigations target? If you guessed conservatives, you’d be right.
They go after 100% legal tax strategies that have previously been explicitly blessed by even Democrat Administrations.
Things like captive insurance companies, conservation easements, and R&D tax credits. The end result- according to one conservative donor - is $3-4 BILLION per year that would otherwise be donated to conservative causes and candidates, but instead is being frozen by the IRS in practice .
The vetting crisis continues.

Publicly available social media posts and photographs, verified by multiple sources familiar with Salinger, depict him in a long-term relationship with Sam Wong, an attorney who resigned from Latham & Watkins in April 2025 in protest of the firm’s settlement with the Trump administration.

Wong’s widely circulated LinkedIn statement at the time declared he did not wish to be “complicit” in what he described as the Trump administration’s “consolidation of power.”. Wong's X account shows he endorsed a Federal Energy Regulatory Committee policy that is contrary to President Trump's energy plan. Additional photographs show Salinger attending the Burning Man festival on multiple occasions, including stays at a camp called “Camp Vagina Dentata.” Images from the event portray him wearing a multicolored fur coat and Venetian masks alongside his partner Sammy Wong, a professional pole dancer who was crowned “Mr. Pole Dance International 2019.”
Wong, Salinger's partner according to social media posts, is the child of Lisa Bloom @LisaBloom and grandson of Gloria Allred, both Trump critics. Bloom and Allred each represented multiple women who accused President Trump of sexual misconduct. Bloom went on to represent Kathy Griffin after she displayed a gory scene of President Trump's severed head, which many viewed as a declaration of support for ISIS.
