Hard to explain to anyone who’s never been to Gaza how jarring this is. Gaza had a population density in range of Greater London or Hong Kong. 87% lived in urban areas. They now mostly live in tents. By the sea. Half of them: children. Waiting for fourth displaced winter.

Despite the fines and mounting pressure, Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair continues to honour Palestinian children killed in Gaza. This time, it’s Lana, 12, and Bana, 8, who were killed alongside their family in an Israeli attack earlier this month.

I’ve seen NAZA. It is not about Gaza or even about IDF rules of engagement. It is 100% a film about Israeli society. It is about how the most liberal, educated and enlightened socioeconomic elites among us could carry out such mass killing, some even while being well aware of it.

Remember what I said last week, they're going to try and blackball Azeez Al-Shaair if he doesn't back down. He's a team captain, a pro-bowler, and in his prime. He's one of the best linebackers on the planet. They'll try to ruin his career because he stands with Palestinians.
