MSCI should be a mirror of the market, not an arbiter of it.
Strategy responded today to MSCI’s proposed “non-operating company” exclusion. While not material to $MSTR, the proposal is misguided, flawed, and conflicts with established securities laws and accounting principles. Read our letter and share your support: strategy.com/msci

Aug 14: “Bitcoin doesn’t need MSCI. Neither does Strategy.” Aug 31: a dedicated campaign page begging shareholders to email MSCI, register support, and share the letter.

My portfolio is a non operating company too since it does nothing but bleed money.

Exactly! Should they treat the same way $AAPL or any company holding too much USD in the treasury?

It is a check on $MSTR's common ATM expansion, Saylor. About 50 million common shares were issued during this quarter. I am struggling to justify that expansion for this quarter to defend $STRC, while Strive never needed to do that for $SATA.

the ATM should be used wisely with the market, not just every damn week at ridiculous mNAV

Why is an asset-holding company inherently unsuitable for an equity index? What problem is MSCI actually solving? A company doesn't cease being an equity company because its balance sheet consists largely of assets.

blame MCSI after you went total retard on 21/21? shot the $ WOD like a teenager on prom night. diluted rabid fans while calling them dumb for complaining. buy high, sell low, buy high again, dilute again, while mstr massively tanks and strc fails. MCSI doesn't like your act.

Mstr's entire business model rests on passive and stupid money flowing into it because no rational person would choose to invest in this ridiculous "business"

The s&p 500 is literally determined by a committee that has full discretion over what companies are selected. They choose the specific filters and rules at their discretion.

I think removing it now on the cusp of a bull market could have negative effects on their performance. They paid their dues in the bear market why lock out investors now?

The idea behind a company is to produce a good or service that people buy and has cash flow. You are creating cash from diluting shareholders to pay dividends and hoard an asset. You're not actually generating cash flow.
