I could only make it halfway through this transcript before I had to stop.
It’s almost unbelievable that this man is the President of the United States.
He rarely finishes a coherent thought. At one point, he actually says that all of his decisions “are correct ones.” His explanations of the national debt and basic economics are astonishingly muddled. And he makes false claim after false claim with absolute confidence. I can't tell if he's just doesnt care that he's lying or actually belives the lies himself.
Reading the transcript—not watching him, not hearing the delivery, just reading his actual words—is jarring.

On BBC Question Time last night they were talking about the collapse of hope.
This is what a young person said.
Meanwhile in France students are rioting in part because of overheated classrooms – they’ve just had a record-breaking heat wave as the UK and much of the rest of the world has too. Next year will be hotter.
The majority and establishment seem to have little care about young people, what they are facing, the mental health impacts they’re already living with now.
Even as we just saw the UKs hottest summer on record, I can’t see anyone in the media talking about the impact on young people‘s futures. Let learn their mental health.
Whenever young people‘s climate anxiety is ever mentioned it’s always framed by the mainstream media as them being delusional - when in fact they are just listening to the facts.
Considering the extreme year of weather we are having, @bbcquestiontime should have held a special edition on the climate crisis. They continue to be less than half-hearted at addressing it. Instead of politicians they need to have climate scientists and experts on the panel such as @KevinClimate @HayleyJFowler @ProfBillMcGuire @Sir_David_King

I recommend people read Time's interview with Trump to get a sense of the president's grave cognitive impairment.
