If the Dubai to Tel Aviv flight had instead been flying to London, upon its eventual arrival the British authorities would probably: • Arrest the people who apprehended the attacker • Accuse them of Islamophobia and violence • Fast track them into prison within less than a day • Release the pilot responsible for the attack on bail after the absolute minimum amount of time they were required to detain him Now, of course, I'm... sort of... joking. But how that scenario would play out in Britain is something that will have crossed many people's minds. This was one of the most blatant cases of deceit ever captured on film. And it wasn’t just Hamas manufacturing the lie. The Red Cross was involved too. The bag doesn’t come out of the rubble. It was thrown from an open window of a building into the dirt, covered, and then brought back up on cue. An excavator works the same hole. A man with a phone stands in the frame and records the second appearance as if it were the first. That isn’t how you treat the dead. That is how you build a lie. And the longer footage tape is even worse, because it’s not only Hamas doing theater for a camera they control. When the Red Cross team arrived, they don’t stop the scene. They tell the men to put the bag back in the ground a second time and then dig it out again so the recovery can be witnessed, dated, and signed as if the organization had found a body instead of a rehearsal. Complicity is the polite word. They made themselves extras in the production and then left with the authority to call it documentation. This is why the casualty numbers cannot be treated as a ledger. The grave is temporary. The camera is the point. And the people in the vests who were supposed to be the check on the lie agreed to restage the lie so they could say they were there when it happened. Furthermore, these confrontations are purposefully weaponized for online engagement. The resulting videos are broadcast to massive audiences to generate clicks and shares, directly monetizing the harassment. Crucially, this group routinely posts the personal information of the individuals they target, subjecting their victims to severe secondary harassment, cyberbullying, and the very real threat of physical violence from online extremists. The freedom of speech does not extend to the targeted harassment, intimidation, and doxxing of private citizens based on their religion, ethnicity, or perceived political beliefs. By systematically ambushing individuals in public spaces and broadcasting their identities to incite hostility, PNN is operating with complete impunity and crossing the line into unlawful harassment, menacing, and potential bias-motivated crimes. It is unacceptable that this entity has been allowed to continue these activities without facing legal consequences.
