🚨🇩🇰 BREAKING: Danish intelligence says Russia has begun carrying out sabotage operations against Danish companies supplying Ukraine.
PET says there has been a significant shift in Russia’s campaign.
In the spring, Danish intelligence observed extensive planning but very little being carried out.
“What we saw in early summer is that they started to carry out a lot more,” PET lead analyst Josefine Christensen said Wednesday.
Russia is now increasingly seeking targets with a direct impact on Ukraine’s battlefield supply chain - including weapons production, according to PET.
The intelligence service says Russia is also increasingly recruiting expendable proxies through Telegram and social media, initially using them for reconnaissance before escalating toward sabotage.
PET has not publicly identified the Danish companies affected or provided details of the individual operations.
