That is the Fake News brain in one sentence. They got turned away from a state dinner, then spent the morning acting like it was Watergate while lecturing America on AI, ICE, and whether MAGA podcasters are tuning Trump out.
These people lost the White House, lost the plot, and somehow still think they run the country from a cable panel.
Trump hosted Xi, sat tech leaders at the table, and put America first on the biggest stage in the world. CNN's big contribution was crying about credentials and fishing for a midterm panic story. Nobody is begging them for a seat at that dinner.
The American people already voted, and they did not vote for another lecture from Audie Cornish and the corporate newsroom that spent years lying to their face.

I’ve watched people walk out of the UN all week and I keep thinking the same thing: then what the hell is the point of the United Nations?
You don’t have to agree. You don’t have to like what’s being said. But if countries can’t even sit in the same damn room and listen to each other, what exactly are we paying for?
I’m tired of watching our tax dollars disappear into institutions that seem increasingly incapable of doing the very thing they were created to do.
Wars everywhere. Countries refusing to listen to each other. Delegates walking out when they don’t like the speaker.
And we call this the UNITED Nations?
At some point you stop fixing something that clearly isn’t working.
Dismantle it. Keep whatever actually serves a purpose and build something better.
Because whatever the hell this is, it isn’t “united.”

You’ll recall, @NerdeenKiswani is the Mamdani campaign surrogate who called on him to ban dogs in NYC because she said Dogs are “unclean” and “not Islamic”.
This is the exact opposite of what Mamdani ran on.
He promised to arrest Netanyahu. Now Netanyahu is escorted to the UN by his NYPD while that same NYPD arrests people protesting him, including politicians endorsed by Mamdani.
And we’re supposed to treat their arrests as resistance without asking the obvious question: why is Mamdani’s NYPD arresting them in the first place? What are they doing to hold him accountable for that publicly?
Mamdani chose to keep Jessica Tisch. If his administration opposes these arrests, he has power over NYPD policy and leadership. Demand that he use it.
Instead, people keep peddling this fiction that Mamdani is powerless and his hands are tied. If his own supporters preemptively excuse him from using the powers he does have, what incentive is there to fight to fulfill the promise they elected him on?
Meanwhile the pro-Israel establishment will continue demanding concession after concession.
Why would any elected official take protest movements or their demands seriously if even when their preferred candidate takes power, they refuse to pressure him to use it?
