A Cyberbeast - faster than a Porsche towing a Porsche.

I may not buy a Roadster, but I’m damn happy that they’re making one.

It’s smart enough to know my schedule, and realized I’m not going to the hospital today, but rather to my outpatient clinic.
If my schedule had changed unexpectedly, work is still listed below as next best guess.

FSD 14.3.8 still needs work when it comes to parking.
Lately my Cybertruck wants to park in the handicapped spot.
Should I let it complete, then re-park elsewhere? (Save the streak!)

Disengage to teach it that this is wrong?

Time to commute from the hospital to the office.
Rather than being a headache dealing with midday highway traffic, it’s great to be chilling on FSD in the Cybertruck.
Stress free, leaving me mentally ready to get after it and tackle the afternoon with energy.

The vision of Terafab is beginning to take shape!
And things are coming along at typical Elon Musk speed - close to Warp 10!
Big news at the @spaceX and @Tesla Terafab site today … foundation construction is already underway with a long rectangular graded area getting footing excavation rock. This is possibly the first part of the main structure, but at this stage, very hard to tell, but nonetheless, this is showing the pace here is very fast!
More land clearing and backs grade work around the western “Phase” 1 of the site today, about 40% to 50% more than I saw on my first trip just shy of 1 month ago. The county-wide burn ban has not slowed the progress at the site as you can see with these images from today’s drone flight.
More ruck activity on the main construction road along with additional temporary operations and staging areas on the newly cleared parts of the site. There is a Starlink ground station here as well, which I reported on 2 weeks ago … I cannot say if it is active yet or not.

This is not some rare phenomenon.
Once you’ve tried FSD, it’s the only way to go.
My Model S Plaid is capable of 0-60 in 2 seconds, but since I’m 99.1% FSD, that capability barely gets touched.
Kind of a shame.
But FSD is really just that good.

I must say, this is probably the biggest step change in iPhone tech we’ve seen in a very long time.
But $2000 is a heck of a lot of money for a phone.
I have no doubt it will somehow sell very well.
Personally, I’m sticking with my regular iPhone.
I’ll put the extra cash towards my Cybercab… 😂

Joe is really onto something here.
Take it a step further and think about Cybertruck.
Blocks / sessions would be ideal for Cybertruck - an incredibly versatile vehicle, quite capable as a delivery vehicle or temporary work truck.
And if it can run FSD Unsupervised (no reason it cannot!), the utility is extremely high.
It may not be the ideal vehicle for ride hail service, as the efficiency is much worse than the Cybercab or Model Y.
And for many, it doesn’t sit at a price point where personal ownership works well.
A future block / sessions type vehicle on the Robotaxi network though? Worth a thought!
Robotaxi is not Uber-with-no-driver versus a $50k car payment. It is a slider. Hail on Monday. Lock a session for groceries on Wednesday. Own-and-earn on Friday. Hail again when you are in another city. Build the slider. Stop asking people to pick a pole.

That’s a good point.
I think to achieve anywhere close to that, they’re going to have to abandon the multimodal sensor approach and admit vision only is best, PLUS somehow figure out how to make cars ultra cheap without sacrificing quality.
In other words, pull of a series of miracles, the likes of which even Maverick from Top Gun would be impressed with.

From this vantage point, it actually obstructs a good bit of your view of what’s right in front of the car.
Which doesn’t matter at all in an autonomous vehicle you’re not controlling. But you would not want to drive a car like this manually.

Interestingly, the stock price over the same timeline reflects what has been happening with the company.. albeit slightly more choppy compared to the near exponential growth in revenue.

Nvidia, $NVDA, is expected to post a record $92.3 BILLION in quarterly revenue today.
This would mark +1,278% revenue growth over the last 4 years.
Furthermore, this would mark nearly +$90 BILLION in revenue growth compared to Q2 2020.
We are witnessing the biggest technological revolution in modern history.

Cost comparison:
Fully Autonomous Tesla Semi vs Regular diesel Class 8 with a human driver
100k miles/year running costs:
Diesel: ~$220–230k
(Fuel ~$80k + driver ~$103k + maint/tires ~$26k + ins ~$11k)
Tesla Semi: ~$45k
(Energy ~$20k + maint ~$9k + ins ~$11k)
That’s ~$175–185k cheaper per truck per year. Driver cost disappears. Energy is ~1/4 the price of diesel. Far fewer parts to break.
Autonomy + 500-mile range + 1.2 MW charging changes the entire economics of freight.
The Semi isn’t just an EV truck — it’s a cost-structure reset.

Tesla FSD and Tesla Insurance are the perfect mix for healthcare workers who have to attend to emergencies in the middle of the night. This combo needs to be standard issue.
When a patient comes in with a heart attack, the cath lab team gets activated and must get there as soon as possible to open the blocked artery.
Last night, such a call came at 1am.
FSD took care of 100% of my driving. Thanks Hurry mode.
Got there safely in 10 minutes and we got to work.
Tesla insurance used to penalize me for late night driving, but no more- as long as FSD is engaged.
Both the drive to the hospital and back home were in the middle of the night, which technically should have dropped my score.
Safety score for the day though:
Still 99.9.
FSD use meaningfully improves safety, and it’s reflected tangibly in your premium.

Big moment…
Just signed up for my first full Ironman.
Ironman Canada / Ottawa in August 2027.
I’ll be 50 next year, so I guess this is my midlife crisis.
As a Cardiologist, knowing how important exercise is to cardiac and overall health, I’m hoping to inspire people to get after it.
If I can make the time to do this alongside a full time career, anyone can. It doesn’t have to be an Ironman- just find something active you enjoy!

As a Tesla or SpaceX investor, if you find yourself daydreaming about the Terafab and all the Optimus bots and AI satellites it will bring to life, you might be inclined to dump unreasonable amounts of your money into one or both of these stocks. I’m right there with you.
People here seem distracted by the timing and details of a pasivos merger. My take, as a total non-expert: it will all work out phenomenally well. Don’t fret about the details. Just go back and watch the Terafab video on repeat until it’s all sorted out.

Picked up a loaner Cybertruck today while my Model S is in service.
The loaner experience is so good.
Phone key access, all settings and preferences are all there when you get in the vehicle.
Even my audiobook is loaded up at the same place I left off in the other car.
Nobody does user experience like Tesla does. Unmatched.

Interesting Tesla Insurance discovery!
Late night driving used to penalize your safety score quite heavily, and jack up your premium. Driving between the hours of 11pm and 4am count as late night. The old version didn’t really care if you were on FSD - it just didn’t want you driving late.
Last night I had to drive home late from the airport - just over an hour of which was in the “unsafe” zone.
However, since I was on FSD pretty much the whole time, the penalty was very low.
My daily score remained at 99.9!
This is excellent news.
I was definitely much safer on FSD than I would have been driving manually after a long flight, so this is really using the real world impact of FSD to promote safer roads and keeping your premiums low.
