amazon is blocking grok @bots from ordering, and elon's answer is just have your bot buy it somewhere else. one of my grok bots only handles my amazon returns, so i'm watching this one closely. would you switch stores for your bot? 🛒 Elon, i think its time for an X Shop? 👀

If you're in Washington state, the Florida panhandle is being destroyed by a hurricane. If you're in the Florida, panhandle it's raining.

Panama city was nice. Hopefully it'll still be there.

There's absolutely nothing that isn't funny about this.

It makes you wonder if history will judge us for creating huge oil trade networks (like the tin of old) only to replace it with something that shines on us every day.
I had not realised before that the Bronze Age Collapse was literally *caused* by iron. Bronze age powers like the Egyptians, Hittites and Babylonians used bronze weapons, made by combining copper and tin. Tin was so scarce that only the richest and most powerful groups could access it and the bronze weapons it allowed. (Tin was so rare that it was being transported from Cornwall to the Middle East more than 1000 years BC.) The scarcity of tin gave these empires a near-monopoly on violence. Iron weapons are not actually any better than bronze ones – they're not stronger or easier to work with, as I'd assumed. They're just much, much easier to mass produce once you have bloomeries, which are the first furnaces that were hot enough to melt iron in a way that made them useable for weapons. Bloomeries meant that iron ore, which was widespread, could be used to make weapons anywhere. That led to warlords, bandits and city-states rising in a massive decentralization of military power, which the Bronze Age empires were unable to resist. After the invention of the bloomery, skeletons show a measurable increase in weapon-inflicted injuries. 'Destruction layers' with bones and signs of burning have been found from this time at archaeological sites including Troy. Ancient writers – including Herodotus, Ovid, and the writers of the Old Testament – believed the invention of iron had unleashed a new age of violence. New at Works in Progress, WEAPONS OF MASS DECENTRALIZATION: how iron itself brought about the Bronze Age Collapse. And what technologies could do the same today? worksinprogress.co/issue/wea…

Just reward for a network that tossed aside it's credibility.
🇺🇸🇨🇳 The White House is still playing keep-away with CNN and MS NOW on the night Xi comes to dinner. A judge told the admin to restore their passes, yet this morning they were still bounced. Some got back in later. Then, as the state dinner arrival started, CNN says it was blocked again and pointed to Steven Cheung. Courts can hand back a badge, but the building can still decide who stands on the lawn when the motorcade pulls up. Writer: Lucas x.com/atrupar/status/2103259…

These are the lies we should not tolerate from sitting representatives in the Congress of United States of America. This congressperson should be sanctioned for lying to the American public. But she won't be.
ICE killed another man. His name is Mario David Coronado Juarez. Mario lived and worked in Michigan for 7 years as a construction worker, sending money home to his kids in Guatemala. ICE pursued him in an unmarked car, causing a fatal car crash. These killings have to stop. #AbolishICE.

Companies are unwilling to cut profits to pay higher wages in the country that they operate in. They are willing to destroy their own culture in order to avoid labor costs. Think about it... They'd rather change the identity of your nation than pay you a living wage.
Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez: Migration has made Spain stronger. Economically, socially, culturally, migrants work in our companies, contribute to our public finances, sustain our welfare state and enrich our communities. Migration makes us a better country. No question. This matters because there are politicians on both sides of the Atlantic trying to convince working people that their problem is another working person — someone born somewhere else, someone who earns even less than they do. It is one of the oldest political tricks in history: make people look sideways so they never look up.

The scariest thing about it is that anyone can ask AI and find out that Bernie Sanders is full of shit. Fear mongering from a guy who has no real world experience of any kind and absolutely no understanding of how this technology works. This is not someone you should be listening to.
Scientists and industry leaders have been increasingly clear: AI could soon be smarter than humans and function outside of our control. For the sake of all of humanity, Trump and Xi must negotiate a treaty NOW to pause AI and ban superintelligence before it is too late.

I honestly think he looks super sharp. I feel better now that I've seen him. Business as usual.
Like I said, Mitch is brain dead. You can’t look at his face and say he’s not a vegetable. He’s not even responding to cognition tests. It’s like wheeling a corpse around. Worse than what the Democrats did with Joe Biden to be honest. He looks incapacitated. Brain dead.

All joking aside, Tesla has the best shot at making a reliable amphibious vehicle. Power transfer is a simple thing in an electrical system.
GUYS, STOP DRIVING YOUR TESLAS INTO WATER!

New, old, doesn't matter. The goal is socialism as the gateway to disenfranchising Americans from the power of the people. The more government assistance you accept, the more power you lose. Here's the other side of the coin, the gates to prosperity are guarded.
Here’s the truth: These new “democrats” don’t actually care about your tax dollars, they care about controlling you They know by having a large portion of the population dependent on government handouts gives them complete control of you and your vote Don’t fall for the trap.

Republicans need to make prosperity more attainable. Spread out government contracts to American citizen run franchises, the paperwork road blocks are no longer there thanks to AI.
