One place you need to see during UNGA in NYC
Tomorrow, more than 20,000 teddy bears will fill Hunters Point South Park in Long Island City, each representing a Ukrainian child forcibly taken by russia.
This installation has traveled across North America, from Washington, D.C., to California and Canada. Now, it’s coming to New York during the UN General Assembly with one message: Ukrainian children cannot be forgotten, and no peace negotiations can leave them behind.
Join us on September 22, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM, with a press conference at 4:00 PM featuring Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mariana Betsa, R.T. Weatherman Foundation President Meaghan Mobbs, and other prominent speakers.
If you’re a journalist, come cover it.
If you care about Ukraine and justice, come join us.
If you’re a Ukrainian activist in New York, you should be here.
