It comes as no surprise that Flock, a mass surveillance system, is now asking the government for privacy. Public maps are one of the few tools Americans have to maintain transparency and accountability over these surveillance systems. Americans want privacy. Not mass surveillance.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has released 35 geothermal energy parcels for a competitive lease sale. This is the kind of American energy development we should continue to pursue. My bill, the CLEAN Act, would help further unlock opportunities to develop geothermal energy and support consistent geothermal lease sales. Americans want strong energy security, and I am proud that our state of Idaho can help lead the way.

Today, we celebrate 239 years of the U.S. Constitution. Authored by our Founding Fathers and adopted by We the People, our Constitution stands as a lasting framework for protecting the inalienable rights given to us by God.

Rural health care is a vital issue for many Idahoans. Through my support of the One Big Beautiful Bill, the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) was established, and Idaho is expected to receive $186 million in federal funding to help serve rural communities across our state.

Earlier this month, I voted in favor of H.J. Res. 1, a proposed constitutional amendment to permanently establish the U.S. Supreme Court at nine justices. This legislation would have protected the Constitution and helped prevent any political party from attempting to stack the Supreme Court.

I just heard about the emergency landing involving a plane carrying my colleague, Congressman Tiffany. I am thankful that he is unharmed and grateful for the first responders who quickly reached him and the other passengers. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved.

Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, our nation was attacked, and nearly 3,000 lives were tragically taken. Today, we remember the souls we lost too soon, honor the first responders who ran toward danger for their neighbor, and reaffirm our solemn commitment as Americans to never forget.

One year later, we remember our friend, Charlie Kirk. We will never forget his life, his legacy, or his immeasurable impact on America.

Idahoans should always be able to determine what happens to the data their vehicle generates—including GPS location, routes, and driving habits. That’s why I have co-sponsored H.R. 6734, the Auto Data Privacy and Autonomy Act. This bill protects consumers’ sensitive vehicle data from being accessed by third parties unless the vehicle owner has authorized it, and it allows consumers to control whether they want their operator data stored or deleted.

Since the start of the 119th Congress, my colleagues and I in the House Majority have: ✅ Delivered $4.6 trillion in tax cuts—the most in U.S. history ✅ Passed approximately 900 pieces of legislation—including my measures to eliminate the tax on overtime pay and increase geothermal energy production ✅ Rescinded 22 federal bureaucratic regulations—once again, the most in U.S. history I’m proud of these results in the House, and also recognize how much more work needs to be done. I will continue fighting for policies that reduce the federal government's size and scope, strengthen our economy, and put more money back in the pockets of hardworking Americans.
