two things can be true at once dude. we got fucked by both. why is LITERALLY EVERY recruiter I have interacted with over the last 15 years except for two of them one time each why have all the other ones been Indians working in an Indian call center in India? why is every tech company that I have worked at over the last almost 20 years full of 90% Indians? I can guarantee it's not because of their qualifications and outstanding performance especially when you start looking at all the degree Mills and other things they've used to fraudulently gain access to employment in the US and employment from the US and American money and companies and to the United States soil itself

Sad part is when trying to find American workers, all we get is Indian H1 resumes. What should a company do? HR/ recruiting can’t find American resumes for many technical positions. This issue needs addressing from both sides

The US Government does what it is PAID to do. It instituted the H1-B visa program because someone PAID it to. That someone is our true "Enemy." It wasn't Corporations OR the Government that füçked us; it was the rich Plutocracy/Billionaire Class - the people who OWN BOTH of them.

The US governments own reports even say the program is severely corrupt with Fraud and is a detriment to American workers. Also @USCIS workers keep getting caught taking bribes to approve Visa’s. Nothing about the program is monitored, controlled or audited. Time for a lawsuit

I think it's a good case for both

It took me 2.5 years after finishing school and 1400+ resumes submitted with 2 interviews total to get a tech job. I worked fulltime and went to school fulltime. I worked overtime. I paid for everything myself. There were many nights where I got less than 4 hours of sleep. I did every single tech challenge I could find. I built free apps for people. I could not get into tech. I finally got in- making less than fast food writing assembly I went to school for web development. This is drastically different. But it’s a job. I’m thankful for it. I was homeless twice in that process. Do you know how hard it is to keep up to date on languages without a house?! My car exploded. I had to figure out everything by my self. And this is what I had to do as an AMERICAN to compete against H1B. I was working commission (which means 8am- 1am next day) in a job that wore me out every day- left me tired and sweaty so I could code and get into this industry. I’m thankful to be in. There are so many people that got laid off in favor of foreigners. It should be illegal to hire someone that way. My story is no different from many others. We’re all willing to work and put our backs into it. We keep getting told we are lazy. Bullshit.
