RT @RosieDuffield1: Another union, taking subs from many women workers, telling them they will not uphold or protect their legal workplace…
306
These are the unions: ASLEF, Community, CWU, FBU, GMB, MU, NUM, TSSA, UNISON, Unite, and USDAW. These unions protested the Women’s Conference for excluding men. They support the Labour Party financially. If you don’t want your money being used this way, you need to contract out.
Incredible joint union solidarity event this morning. All 11 unions standing together with the trans and non-binary community.

We wish brave Sandie Peggie the very best as she endeavours to hold the RCN to account: “I want this to be a wake-up call for the RCN and other unions,” she said. “They really should be working for their female staff and ensuring that there are spaces for biological women, who should have separate changing areas.” thetimes.com/uk/law/article/…

If you are a women & you pay into the TUC you are paying into the destruction of your own rights & sex based protections
The TUC is now an organisation which is campaigning from the removal of women's rights and for male supremacy. It also, by extension, cares nothing for women's safety, VAWG, or women's health.

“Grover remained defiant in her response to The Star Observer, stating that “Men who claim to be women are men. That is reality. No court decision will change that reality. They were men yesterday, they’re men today and they will be men tomorrow. I will remain a woman, something men who claim to be women will never be. That’s how reality works.”

There isn’t a woman in the world who would have had to take me to court to gain access to a woman only app. It took a man for this case to exist.

We’re in a bizarre phase where knowing exactly who the women are and pretending to not know who the women are is happening simultaneously and both positions are being used to punish women.

An absolutely perfect example of progressive brain rot: western women are bigots for wanting women-only spaces, but Muslim men are celebrated for insisting on men-only spaces dailymail.com/news/article-1…

I’m looking forward to @Channel4News balanced interviews with women & girls who feel unsafe with males in their bathrooms, or the women & girls who feel cheated by men or boys in their sports?
'I will never be safe in a man's toilet', says Isabella who is a trans woman. Thousands of single-sex spaces in the UK, like changing rooms and toilets, should be used based on biological sex, according to new guidelines that come into place today from the Equalities and Human Rights Commission. The guidance says trans people should instead be offered a separate mixed-sex space. It follows a Supreme Court ruling last year that the definition of sex for the purposes of the Equality Act means biological sex - the sex of a person at birth, not the gender you identify with. While gender critical organisations welcome clarification on the law', many in the trans community and LGBTQ+ organisations feel the guidelines leave them more open to discrimination. #Trans #LGBTQ #Toilet #ChangingRoom #C4News #Channel4News

A reminder that Labour politicians do not want to follow the law which clearly says that biological woman also have rights and are entitled to single sex spaces away from men for our own dignity and privacy. Comments off as ever from Labour MP's. #labourlosingwomen
A reminder that yesterday, today, tomorrow and always: trans women are women and trans men are men. Proud to represent a Borough that recognises that protecting women doesn't need to come at the expense of trans people's safety and dignity.

Translation: Powerful Labour unions will boycott the party's women's conference this year because men cannot attend. They bring the whole of the trade union movement into disrepute. Trade unions have always been male dominated sexist institutions. Same old.
EXCLUSIVE: Powerful Labour unions will boycott the party’s women’s conference this year in protest at the ban on trans women. Unison, Aslef, Usdaw and the Musicians Union will not attend Labour Women’s Conference in September over the exclusion of trans women from formal business at the event. The unions are among Labour’s largest financial backers and say the all-women event in Liverpool breaches their policies on trans inclusion.

My heart absolutely breaks for @KirralieS, who lost her NSW Supreme court appeal to overturn an absurd decision of vilification + a $95,000 fine for bringing attention to men in women’s sport. Women in the league Kirralie was bringing attention to are now speaking out about the men in their women’s league. They don’t want them there. Men who claim to be women are not oppressed or marginalized. They are using ideologically captured institutions to have power over women & punish any who step out of line by saying “no”. $95,000 later, you’ll still be men. Deal with it.

Anti-trans views classed as misinformation in government report. More stupidness. Suggesting we can’t refer to Algerian biological male boxer as a male. The whole reason they are not allowed into female competition. Stupid is as stupid does. Gaslighting telegraph.co.uk/gift/d049d68…

Should any of the women's organisations targeted by @AmnestyUK's recent 'anti-rights' blacklist wish to take legal action, applications can be made to the JK Rowling Women's Fund. jkrwf.org
Whilst I understand the detriment to Beira’s Place is real, and focussing on @jk_rowling get clicks it’s a shame that mainstream press coverage of the Amnesty debacle is not also focussing on us smaller groups listed who do not have the same power or influence to defend ourselves
