Madam, before questioning who works for students, farmers, workers and women, perhaps do some homework. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) works among students and reported nearly 77 lakh members in 2025. The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) organises workers, the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS) represents farmers, Vidya Bharati runs educational institutions, Seva Bharati works in social welfare, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram works among tribal communities, and Rashtra Sevika Samiti focuses on women’s organisation and social service. These are extensive networks working across different sections of society, not just people making noise on social media.
And coming from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), the irony is something else!
Lalu Prasad Yadav has multiple convictions in fodder scam cases involving fraudulent withdrawals of public money. The land for jobs and IRCTC cases have brought serious corruption allegations and court proceedings involving him and members of his family. Former RJD MP Prabhunath Singh was convicted in a double murder case by the Supreme Court. Bihar’s years under Lalu and Rabri Devi remain controversial for corruption allegations and the law and order situation commonly labelled “Jungle Raj.”
So perhaps look at your own party’s record before handing out certificates on social contribution. Building institutions, educating students, organising workers, supporting farmers and serving communities takes decades. Dismissing all that with a few sarcastic lines takes seconds. Criticise with facts, not political prejudice.
