Please donate to support education of girls and women in Afghanistan. This is the correct Stripe link (the one in the post below is truncated and does not work): donate.stripe.com/dRmbJ00SQb… @WDIAfghanistan1
🔊Important:- Afghan girls need your support this September. 💙 We currently do not have enough funding to cover their internet costs for September. For 1,806 days, Afghan girls have been denied their right to education. Yet they have not given up. They are still learning, quietly and secretly, refusing to let their dreams be taken away. If you are able, please consider making a donation.⬇️ donate.stripe.com/dRmbJ00SQb…… Or gofund.me/8ea2748c0 Thank you for standing with Afghan girls and helping keep their education alive. ❤️ And also In the coming months, we hope to gift power banks to active girls in our online education program. Many of our students have only about 4 hours of electricity a day, making it difficult to charge their phones. If you’d like to gift a power bank to a girl to help her keep her phone charged and stay connected to her classes, please support us. Also, please sign our petition and stand with Afghan women and girls in defending their right to education. c.org/ynpydWhXmS

Athena Forum was in London recently for the @WDI_UK conference, where @annettepacey joined feminists from across the world for two days of lively discussion and collaboration. Workshops explored issues ranging from the loss of spaces for young lesbians to the UK's draft conversion practices bill. A particular highlight was the presentation by Athena Forum expert network member Anne Kalvig, who argued that gender identity is best understood as a belief system akin to a religious belief.

Women's Declaration International (WDI) letter to @AmnestyUK, about the defamatory allegations in their latest ill-advised Report libelling multiple organisations that merely seek to promote and protect women's sex-based rights.

Amnesty International has done irreversible damage by labelling women’s rights groups such as @ForWomenScot, @mbmpolicy and @beirasplace as ‘anti-rights’ all because they have refused to subscribe to gender ideology. Even though the report produced by the organisation has been withdrawn, it is absolutely shocking that an organisation that is supposed to support the most vulnerable has decided to discredit those who have gone above and beyond to protect women and girls. Amnesty International owes an apology to these organisations and to all those aided by them

“A question for everyone: If someone closed your school for one week and told you that you cannot read books, learn, or dream about your future… how would you feel? Now imagine Afghan girls have lived this reality for nearly 5 years. How would you survive?” Where are you @UN_Women Please share and talk about Afghan women 🙏

As the Tempest tribunal is demonstrating, we urgently need some sense and clarity as to what is meant by ‘harassment’ in the workplace and beyond. The current focus on some definition that incorporates ‘feeling upset because you won’t believe what I do’ is wasting the time and money of police, regulators and courts. If you are so vulnerable you cannot tolerate others having different views and the freedom to express them, that is a great sadness for you but not anyone else’s responsibility to try and fix.
GLP’s involvement with them in the first place was always a huge misjudgement. The briefest look at Euan’s SM output and public statements would have anyone sane giving him a massive bodyswerve. But this does seem quite bad for them.

👉HAMPSTEAD PONDS LATEST: City of London executive is recommending permanent policy of trans women are women for the purposes of the women's pond, showers and changing rooms. Committee meetings in May and June Court date expected soon. Let's see if this is lawful? 🤔
NEW: City of London recommends that the men’s pond should continue to be open to “men and trans men” and the women’s pond to “women and trans women”. We look forward to testing these arguments in court. Read our latest blog: sex-matters.org/posts/update…

We are mentioned again in today’s @thetimes as @lib_thinks raises vital questions about international surrogacy and surrogacy for single men. It’s time to stop this appalling trade in babies. With thanks to the tireless journalists who put children first.

The Green Party's attempt to strike out most of @EmmaBatemanGPW's discrimination case against them has failed. It now proceeds to trial, with implications for women's rights in all political parties. Crowdfunder update: crowdjustice.com/case/the-gr…

🚨🚨I had to make a police report after this woman threatened to k*ll me. Watch the cognitive dissonance on her face. This was last Saturday at the @CA_Dem Democratic Party convention in San Francisco when this woman stands next to me with her sign, “Patients Before Politics,” urging democrats to stop the banning of pediatric gender interventions.

I’ve never said Khelif is trans. Khelif, as has been proven by more than once by a sex test, is a man with a DSD. ‘When your bodies chromosomes don’t align with the sex your body is born with’ is a literally meaningless sentence.
