We are sharing an interim update regarding an exploit identified with @limitbreak Payment Processor V2, a NFT trading protocol maintained by the company Limit Break and which Magic Eden adopted to settle trades on EVM in 2024.
Magic Eden stopped using Payment Processor V2 in Oct 2024 and ceased our EVM marketplace altogether in Q1 2026. No live Magic Eden listings were impacted in this exploit. We will provide more updates as we investigate the impact further.
We are also contacting Limit Break as they are the owner & maintainer of the protocol to see what other mitigations can be done, including progress on pausing transfers on the protocol. Why are ME listings being shown to be involved?
NFTs listed on ME EVM from approx Feb 2024 to Oct 2024 could be impacted by this issue with the Limit Break Payment Processor v2 contract. Any listings on ME EVM after Oct 2024 should not be impacted here. We are still further refining our investigation and will provide more updates here.
In the meantime, if you listed or traded NFTs on Magic Edenās EVM marketplace before we shut it down, revoke this contract:

the whole purpose of v5 is to make the site very smooth and less confusing for users.
but thatās not it, we are also working on adding better verification of each asset, multiple liquidity pools aggregated for similar assets under one router, every feature and tool will be upgraded with better efficiency and also better rewards.
this version along with the trading competition will act as our first onboarding event and allow us to move on auto pilot for a while.
when i say verification, itās not a simple verification.
It will be multiple layers of asset verification, proof of reserves, better osint and self verification by issuers too.
enterprise grade verification for each asset in our protocol.
also perps will go live, futures and options will go live, dex v2 will go live, higher emissions and rebates will go live, and efficient trading flow too.
not everything at once of course, one by one.
and a better developer environment will be built for prism test net and more dapps will go live.
but when i keep saying more, we are not focusing on just increasing numbers here lol
anything thatās not up to industry standard or not efficient will be instantly delisted from the protocol.
more dex pools, more transparency layers, better docs and guides etc.
this version should mark the beginning of prism as a mainstream platform for RWAs just like how every other protocol takes over and dominates one particular space.

0G are doing some cool things here, and i'm happy to be partnering with them to shed some light on their upcoming product launches.
The TLDR is that they're basically copying the VVV/DIEM model where you can stake 0G to unlock iAI and use that to pay for inference and more.
Think it's worth paying attention to, especially with their Infinite AI product launching in a few days, and with the mcap difference between 0G and VVV.

At 18:31 UTC on September 24, 2026, Bitgetās security systems identified unauthorized transfers involving a limited number of hot wallets.
Our security team immediately activated emergency response procedures and began a full investigation.
Based on our current assessment, approximately $351.6 million in assets were affected. Bitgetās cold wallets and the overwhelming majority of platform assets remain secure and unaffected.
Most importantly, user funds remain protected.
The incident falls within the coverage of Bitgetās User Protection Fund, which currently holds more than $464 million.
Customer account balances remain accurate, and deposits and trading continue to operate normally.
As a precaution, withdrawals have been temporarily suspended while our teams complete a comprehensive security review.
We have identified and flagged the relevant transfer addresses and have formally engaged law enforcement agencies and leading on-chain security partners.
We are working around the clock to restore withdrawal services as soon as it is safe to do so.

We will not speculate on the attack vector while the investigation remains ongoing. Our focus is on protecting users, securing all systems, and delivering complete transparency throughout this process.

This is an awesome product to see come to market. Now that tokenized stocks and RWAs in general are a mainstay onchain, we're going to see more of this type of experimentation and innovation. Basically, onchain ETFs/index funds.
There have been a few others that have attempted this type of thing (and I got very excited by them) but they all fizzled out. With @Ondo and BlackRock especially behind this, I doubt very much it's gonna fizzle out, and it's prolly just gonna become part of the space now.
This is just scratching the surface, and I think we're gonna see a looooot more of this kind of stuff, very soon.
Genuinely excited by this, and think everyone should check it out / pay attention to what's happening here.

I've been in the collectibles space for a long time, and it's clear thereās still so much room for growth. When I think about what I want to own for the next 10, 20, 30 years, PokĆ©mon cards top that list.
And this Charizard is the purest expression of my belief in this community. First Edition, Shadowless, Base Set, Gem Mint 10, clean 6 cert. There's no better version of the thing I wanted as a kid.
There arenāt many things I could spend money on that I'm confident Iād still love in 2050, but this is one of them.
