Dear God😣 We need to do away with animal testing. It causes an immense amount of suffering while the overall predictive value for human health is minuscule. Animal testing acts as a broad initial filter rather than an accurate simulator of human biology. While it gives researchers generic baseline data, the vast majority of drugs that pass animal trials ultimately fail when given to humans.
