This is another example of Trump’s cruelty as he desperately tries to divert attention from his quagmire war of choice, Trump tariffs, and the high cost of gas, rent and groceries that his failed policies have caused. Sikh Americans, including many who call Georgia home, are hardworking and patriotic Americans who make our communities stronger. They deserve better than being targeted by an administration who’d rather stoke racial fears than focus on improving Americans’ lives.
Twenty-five years after 9/11, Sikhs are *still* being targeted and profiled for how we look.
Millions of Sikhs in the United States have the last name Singh, which means lion. We remain fearless in identifying as Sikhs—even when our government portrays us as enemies.

Trump is promising Americans a $5,000 “dividend” if Republicans win (which is illegal btw). Meanwhile, his family has gotten billions richer as everyday Americans have suffered the costs.
Maybe the Trump dividends should be coming out of the Trump profits, not taxpayer dollars.
President Donald Trump promised on Wednesday to send every adult American citizen a $5,000 "dividend" if Republicans keep control of both the Senate and House of Representatives in the midterms.
"If the Republicans win, you win with us and you get $5,000," Trump told the crowd at the Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas. "It will be called the Trump dividend."
Trump has proposed other payouts to Americans in the past.
During his efforts to cut government spending last year, Elon Musk suggested a "DOGE dividend" of $5,000. Trump said he loved the idea, but it never came to fruition.
In a November 2025 post on Truth Social, Trump claimed his tariffs were bringing in trillions of dollars and wrote that a "dividend of at least $2,000 a person (not including high income people!) will be paid to everyone."
And in early 2026, more than 1 million U.S. military service members received a "warrior dividend" of $1,776.
