The Army's decision to deactivate the ECABs, including the 158th Aviation Regiment in Conroe, Texas, is an unacceptable gamble with our nation's readiness and puts the future of hundreds of soldiers and civilians in doubt. This decision cuts critical air assault, medical evacuation (MEDEVAC), and emergency response capabilities before a replacement is ready. Our troops deserve better, and the communities that rely on these critical capabilities deserve better. Congress is going to press forward to correct this mistake, restore these essential capabilities, and ensure our soldiers, their families, and our communities have the support and protection they deserve.

On this day, we remember the 2,977 Americans who lost their lives and the first responders who died running into catastrophic danger for their fellow brothers and sisters. America showed our true colors 25 years ago — how much we love each other. 9/11 is not just a day we remember, because we remember it every day. God bless America and thank you everyone for your patriotism.

Today marks 25 years since our nation endured one of the darkest days in American history. We will #NeverForget the victims, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the generation that answered the call to serve. 25 years later, the call to remain as one nation, undivided by anything an enemy could throw at us, is the truest way we honor what was lost.

Today marks 25 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks.   For Chairman @RepBost and many of the veteran members who serve on our Committee, this day is deeply personal.   For many of them — like so many veterans — the events on 9/11 changed the course of their life as they ran towards danger, defended our American way of life, and served overseas in the years that followed.   We will never forget the 2,977 everyday Americans who lost their lives in New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania on this tragic day.   There is an inscription on the National 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City that reads, "No day shall erase you from the memory of time."   25 years later — we proudly uphold that promise.   The steel of American resolve will continue to honor, remember, and tell the stories of those Americans — and the thousands of service men and women who gave their lives in the years that followed.   We will #NeverForget. 🇺🇸

1 year ago today, we lost Charlie Kirk to a horrific act of political violence, a loss still felt deeply by everyone who knew him and by so many around the world. Charlie was a man of deep faith, conviction, and courage whose impact transcended politics. His passion for engaging young people, defending American exceptionalism, and inspiring the next generation never wavered, even in the face of hostility. He gave countless young Americans the courage to find purpose and stand firm in their beliefs. We continue to mourn his loss and pray for Erika and his two young children. We will honor Charlie’s legacy by carrying the torch forward and continuing the mission he dedicated his life to.

Great visit to RoyOMartin's OSB facility in Corrigan. This plant employs 200 Texans and is in the middle of a major expansion that will bring 123 more jobs to our community.

Visited the San Antonio Water System Brackish Groundwater Desalination Facility to learn how they are providing our state with 10 to 12 million gallons of safe, clean drinking water each day through an advanced reverse osmosis process.
