Out of 81 aircraft lost or damaged, 49 are unmanned - 60.5%. 21 aircraft were lost or damaged on the ground - 25.9% Out of manned aircraft, 1x F-15E, 1x A-10, 1x AH-64 destroyed due to enemy fire - 3.7%. Great numbers for headlines, but lies, damned lies, and statistics... the official tally was over 10,200 sorties directly engaging in OEF over 38 days. That would represent an overall campaign attrition rate of: 00.79%. And that's without knowing which tails were only damaged, repaired, and got back into the fight! Additionally, while those are the official numbers, a CENTCOM Air Tasking Order numbers in the hundreds (if not thousands) of lines a day.
