The Syrian SU-24 was evading ground fire and they made a turn that took them *less than a kilometer* into Israeli airspace. They were already back into Syria when the missile hit them.
It was clearly not a deliberate incursion into Israeli airspace and there was no good reason to shoot those guys. They both made it out thankfully but what if they hadn’t and they just killed these pilots over a clear accident?
